Zack Placencia
Zack Placencia has always been interested in capturing memories. He got his start from the music scene in Phoenix, Arizona where he created music videos for Chateau Chateau, Natural Flavors, Post Pedestrian, Remi Goode, and the University of Arizona. As a cinematographer, Zack aims to create beautiful visuals that evoke emotion in a viewer. 12 Steps to Recovery was an opportunity to do that—tell a heartfelt story, one that is close to Ryan’s heart, that will resonate well with others.
Ryan Watson
Ryan Watson truly loves walking out of a movie theater after watching a film and realizing that he now views the world differently- that, because of the film he saw, his eyes have been opened to a new aspect of life that truly changes who he is. He has been pursuing filmmaking for years in hopes that his films can have that effect on others. Until now, Ryan has only had the pleasure to create short films for film festivals and his YouTube channel, Ryan Watson Films. As he saw success winning many awards in film festivals, gaining fans of his work, and receiving many heartfelt messages about the impact his films have had on people’s lives, he decided to take the leap in making a feature film.
Jaiden Watson
Jaiden Watson is as supportive as they come when helping Ryan achieve his movie-making passions. She had no previous skills when it came to movie production, but when Ryan dishes his plans, she is happy to help. Jaiden played many roles in the production of 12 Steps to Recovery, including, but not limited to, screenwriting, setting up auditions, making contracts, paying actors, craft services, clacker, costuming, scheduling, set runner, and script supervisor. Her dreams are to be a supportive wife and stellar mother, and she is lucky enough to be achieving both.
